What can I expect from my online sessions?

Individual sessions are a personal opportunity to receive support and experience growth in a nurturing, nonjudgmental space with someone who understands you. Lia will help you with a variety of topics such as relationship challenges, parenting challenges, managing yourself better, anxiety, depression, confusion, grief, etc.

Sessions are effective in helping with various emotional difficulties and life challenges and will improve your well-being.

You’ll have the opportunity to confidentially discuss your problems and situations with an experienced neurodivergent professional. This will not necessarily solve your problems, but it will equip you with proven strategies to cope more effectively.

Lia is trained to help you gain self-awareness, establish your goals, and support you through the process. She won’t tell you what to do but will become a sounding board to help you discover what you want to do and then strategize and support you in accomplishing your objectives.

How are online counseling & coaching sessions structured?

Lia is professionally trained in both counseling and coaching and tailors individual sessions to serve each client’s unique needs.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Self-Compassion are the counseling approaches used. Once Lia has a better idea of who you are, the challenges you face, and your goals, she will help you increase your awareness of the unhelpful thought patterns and beliefs you have. Next, you’ll implement strategies to allow you to develop healthier thoughts and learn new behavior patterns.

During later sessions, you will discuss how your strategies are working and change the ones that aren’t. Counseling can benefit clients’ mental health.

Coaching is a collaborative process designed to empower individuals to achieve their goals and reach their full potential. Its essence lies in goal-setting, performance improvement, and pursuing future-oriented solutions.

Lia works with her clients to identify objectives, break them down into manageable steps, and develop actionable plans to achieve them. When you initially share your issues with her, she will make recommendations, and together, you’ll decide what focus the sessions will take.
